Who we are

Haaniam (haaniam.com) is a marketplace that helps people find and contact service providers and businesses, currently in Islamabad and Rawalpindi, Pakistan. You can reach us through the contact form. This notice explains what personal information we handle and why.

Information you give us

Service requests: your name, phone or WhatsApp number, city, area, the details of your need, timing and optional budget.

Provider applications and claims: business and contact names, category, services, service areas, business contact numbers, website and price information.

Messages: your name, email, optional phone number and anything you write in the contact form.

Business listing information

Some business profiles are listed from the business's own official website. For these we publish only business information the business itself makes public for customers, such as its name, address, business phone number, website and opening hours. We record the source and the date we checked it.

We do not publish home addresses or personal details of individual staff. A business can claim, correct or remove its listing at any time through the provider form or the contact form.

Information collected automatically

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we don't run analytics that profile you.

Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical data such as IP addresses in server and security logs to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when fonts load.

The site keeps the text of your search in your browser's session storage, for the current visit only, so it can pre-fill the request form. It is not sent to us unless you submit the form.

How we use information

To match your request with suitable providers and contact you about it.

To verify providers and publish the business profiles they have agreed to, or that are based on their official public information.

To answer messages, handle corrections and removal requests, keep the service safe, and improve it.

Sharing

With your consent, we share your request and contact details with providers who may help you. We do not sell personal information.

Form submissions are delivered to us by Web3Forms, our form-processing service. These service providers may process data outside Pakistan.

Retention and security

We keep request, application and message details only as long as needed for the purposes above, normally no longer than 24 months, then delete or anonymise them. We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information, but no online service can be completely secure.

Children

Haaniam is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information, or to stop contacting you, through the contact form. We will respond as quickly as we can.

Changes

If this notice changes, we'll update it on this page with a new date.
